This Privacy Policy explains how Velora Studio, our mobile application (referred to as the "Service"), handles information. Velora Studio is an appointment book for salon professionals — hairstylists, nail technicians, brow artists, lash masters, and solo salon owners — and it is designed to run entirely on your device. By accessing or using the Service, you are agreeing to the practices described within this Policy.
The Service does not require an account, a sign-in, or an email address. Everything you enter is written to your device's storage and is not transmitted to us. This includes:
We do not operate servers that receive your schedule, your clients, or your earnings, and we do not build a profile of you. The Service does not ask for access to your device's contacts, photos, or location — every client card is one you type in yourself.
Velora Studio is a professional tool, so the information you record is largely about other people. Those client cards stay on your device exactly like the rest of your data: we never receive them, and we cannot see them.
Because that information belongs to your clients rather than to us, you remain responsible for it. Please collect and keep only what you actually need for your work, and follow the rules that apply to you locally on consent and recordkeeping. The notes field is free-form and may hold details a client would consider sensitive, such as an allergy — treat it with the same care you would give a paper client book, and be aware that anyone who can unlock your device can read it.
Because the information stays on your device, it serves only the purposes you trigger yourself, including:
If you allow notifications, Velora Studio schedules local reminders (for example, about an upcoming appointment) directly on your device through the operating system. These reminders are generated on the device and are not sent through, or seen by, our servers.
We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties, because we do not collect it in the first place. The Service does not embed advertising networks or third-party analytics that track you across apps.
If Apple provides us with anonymous, aggregated statistics through App Store Connect (for example, total downloads), that data cannot identify you individually.
The Service lets you export a copy of your data as a file whenever you want one. The export is created on your device and goes only where you send it — you choose the destination through the standard iOS share sheet, and it is never routed to us.
An export contains your client details in readable form. Once you send it to another app, a cloud drive, or another person, it is governed by that destination's privacy practices rather than by this Policy, so please pick the destination with care.
We hold no personal data about you on our side, so there is nothing for us to disclose in response to a legal request. Any information stored locally remains under your control on your device.
The schedule, clients, and preferences kept on your device stay there until you remove them. You can delete any individual client or booking at any time, clear everything at once by resetting your data in the app's settings, or delete the app, which erases its locally stored data. If a client asks you to remove their details, you can do so directly in the app.
Our Service is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 13 (or 16 in certain regions). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. Since the app collects no personal information from anyone, no such data is gathered from minors either.
We value your trust and keep the app self-contained so that your work never leaves your device unless you deliberately export or share it. Please remember that the overall security of the data on your phone also depends on the device protections you set, such as a passcode or biometric lock — these matter especially here, since your client book lives on the device.
Because the Service works on your device and does not send your activity to us, there is no transfer of your personal data across borders through the app.
Our Service might include links to external websites operated by third parties, such as a support page. We bear no responsibility for the content, security, or privacy practices of these external sites and strongly recommend that you review their respective privacy policies.
We reserve the right to revise this Privacy Policy periodically. Any updates will be posted on this page, and the "Effective date" at the top will be adjusted accordingly. Your continued use of the Service following any modifications signifies your acceptance of the revised Policy.
